Phenol concentration excess was again recorded in air of Ufa

On a holiday weekend in the capital of Bashkiria, an excess of the maximum permissible concentration of hazardous substances was again recorded. So, according to experts from the Bashkir Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, on Saturday, July 17, in the area of Gafuri Street, special devices registered an excess of the maximum permissible concentration of phenol. According to the published data, the MPC was 1.5 times higher.

Note that measurements were not carried out on July 19 and 20.

Several days ago, Ufa residents again felt an unpleasant smell in the city. About 100 appeals were received from the capital residents to the Ministry of Ecology and the Department of Civil Protection.
