More than 200 thousand people over 60 have been vaccinated against COVID in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, a quarter of the population over 60 years old have been vaccinated against coronavirus since the beginning of vaccination. In total, 803 736 people over 60 live in the republic. Of these, 219 727 (27.3%) people were vaccinated with the first dose, 171 055 (21.3%) with the second dose.

Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic Yevgeny Kustov spoke about vaccination progress against the new coronavirus infection in Bashkortostan. He also noted that to date, the region received 974,080 doses of vaccines to prevent a new coronavirus infection. The work of 184 vaccination points, including mobile ones, was organized.

513 415 residents of the republic (51.8%) completed vaccination in Bashkiria, 833 295 (85%) people were vaccinated with the first dose.
