COVID-19 daily incidence record has been set in Bashkiria

Over the past day, 257 new cases of infection with a new coronavirus infection have been registered in Bashkiria. This was announced at a briefing session in the city administration by the deputy head of the regional Rospotrebnadzor Galina Permina. According to her, the total number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic in the republic has reached 45,471. A day earlier, the daily incidence was 250 new cases.

In Ufa, the number of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 diagnoses has reached 14,499 cases. The increase in the last day was 52 people.

“Compared to the previous week, there is a slight increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections and community-acquired pneumonia in the region,” Galina Permina said.

According to the mayor of Ufa, Sergei Grekov, active vaccination against the new coronavirus infection continues in the capital of Bashkiria. More than 1,800 people were vaccinated at the largest vaccination station in the Volga Federal District, which opened in the Toratau Congress Hall on July 14.
