256 hectares of forest are burning in Bashkiria

In the Burzyansky district of Bashkiria, a large forest fire on ​​231 hectares that occurred on July 18 has not yet been extinguished.
“35 people and 17 pieces of equipment are working on extinguishing,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Forestry reports.
In the same region of the republic, another crowning forest fire continues to operate on an area of ​​3.1 hectares. At the moment, it is also localized but not eliminated.
Meanwhile, three more were added to these two fires over the past day - in Kushnarenkovsky, Beloretsky, and Baymaksky districts. The total area of ​​these forest fires exceeded 22 hectares. All three fires are active.
The largest of them - on an area of ​​15 hectares - is located in the Beloretsk region. Seven people extinguish it, three units of special equipment are involved.
In total, from April 15 to July 21, 225 forest fires were registered in Bashkiria, the total area of ​​which reached almost 2,683 hectares.
Today, the top fifth class fire hazard in forests is predicted in the Kugarchinsky, Kuyurgazinsky, and Meleuzovsky districts of the republic.
