Bashkir archers - silver medalists of Russian Youth Spartakiad

Bashkiria was represented by eight athletes from Ufa, Salavat, Meleuz in archery at the fifth Youth Spartakiad in Krasnodar. Four athletes competed for medals - Stanislav Cheremiskin, Azalia Ginityatova, Marat Khamidullin, and Yaroslav Kalyanov.

Stanislav Cheremiskin was the most accurate in the classic junior bow. The Ufa resident won the gold medal, leaving behind the archers Artem Rusin from the Sverdlovsk region and Yan Konstantinov from Moscow.

According to the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports, Cheremiskin, Khamidullin, and Kalyanov in the classic bow rose to the second step of the podium.

In the group of regions with more than two million people, the national team of Bashkortostan took second place after Moscow. In the team event among 33 regions of Russia, the national team of the republic is in fourth place after Moscow, Buryatia, and the Trans-Baikal Territory.
