Decision to hold Children's Folkloriada in Ufa will be made in November

The Republican Center for Folk Art and CIOFF held negotiations on the possibility of holding a Children's Folkloriada in Ufa. According to the Minister of Culture of the Republic, Amina Shafikova, the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Art is considering this issue.

"Due to possible difficulties and high requirements for holding an international children's event, the council is considering this decision. It is planned that the final decision will be made in November in Budapest at the CIOFF council," the head of the department said.

Recall that the VI World Folkloriada was held in Ufa from July 3 to 10, where more than 1000 representatives of folk groups from 37 countries took part.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the Head of the Region Radiy Khabirov announced the holding of the Children's Folkloriad in Bashkiria.
