Bashkiria approved procedure for granting subsidies for glamping sites creation and development

The Government of Bashkiria has approved the procedure for providing subsidies for the creation and development of glamping sites. The corresponding decree was published on the portal of legal information.

Subsidies will be provided to applicants to finance the costs of creating and developing prefabricated modular structures (glamping). The support is provided within the state development program of domestic and inbound tourism in the republic.

The subsidy for one legal entity or entrepreneur will not exceed five million rubles, subject to co-financing of at least 50 percent.

According to the decree, the following requirements are imposed on applicants for a subsidy: the applicant is not entitled to liquidate the organization within five years from the date of the conclusion of the contract, must not have arrears in fines, taxes, and fees, undertakes to index the wages of employees, as well as maintain and increase the number of workers places from the date of receipt of the subsidy within three years, as well as have more than 50% of foreign investments in their authorized capital.

The distribution of funds is entrusted to the State Committee RB for Tourism.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that 50 glamping sites should appear in Bashkiria by 2024. The Concept specifies that the number of accommodations (beds) must be at least a thousand. In 2021, 2022 and 2023, they plan to open ten glamping camps each, in 2024 - 20. The first glamping in Bashkiria opened in May 2020 in the Birsk region. Сomfortable outdoor tents were equipped at the tourist base on Lake Shamsutdin.

Glamping is a type of camping that combines the comfort of a hotel room with the possibility of outdoor recreation.
