Postal envelope and special postmark dedicated to World Folkloriada were issued

A postal envelope and a special stamp dedicated to the VI World Folkloriada CIOFF have been issued, the press service of the Bashkortostan Department of the Federal Border Service reported.

The thematic envelope depicts the emblem of the international festival and contains the inscription “Republic of Bashkortostan. VI World Folkloriada CIOFF® Ufa, July 3-10, 2021".

The envelopes were issued with a circulation of 500,000. They bear a standard postage stamp corresponding to the tariff for shipping within Russia. The envelopes have already arrived at the post offices.

Simultaneously with the envelope, a special postmark was issued with the transfer date and the emblem of the VI World Folkloriada. It will be officially introduced into the postal circulation just before the grand opening of the international festival in the Ufa-Arena on July 3, 2021, where a special cancellation of postage will take place. Customers of the Russian Post can put an imprint of a special stamp on outgoing items after the end of the ceremony at the central post office during its opening hours.

"The issue of an envelope and a stamp dedicated to the Folkloriada will become a separate event in the 25-year history of international folklore festivals, which will emphasize the special role of Bashkortostan and Russia in their holding," Irek Galimov, director of the Bashkortostan Directorate of Russian Post said.
