Strict anti-epidemic measures will operate in Bashkiria during Folkloriada

The Bashkiria authorities spoke about ensuring medical safety during the VI World Folkloriada. Recall that in early July, representatives of about 50 countries of the world will come to our republic to participate in this large-scale event, more than 1000 guests are expected.

According to the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Amina Shafikova, in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus among the participants of the Folkloriada, unprecedented safety measures have been taken:

“All teams, when leaving their countries, are required to take PCR tests. If at least one of the members of the creative team is found to have a positive test, the entire team is not allowed to take part in the Folkloriada. They also go through control upon arrival in Russia;

- Each team will move exclusively on its own bus, at the entrance to which the participants will measure their temperature twice a day. If at least one of the team members is found to be unwell, the whole team is not allowed to perform;

- With the exception of the opening ceremony, where all spectators will be admitted with the necessary certificates, all activities of the Folkloriada will be held outdoors;

- Before leaving Ufa, all participants will also have to take PCR tests.

“Ufa has air connections with 15 foreign cities, 12,800 people arrive in Ufa every day, during peak hours the number of arriving passengers reaches 1,200 people per hour. Against this background, the arrival of 1,200 participants of the Folkloriada, who have passed testing for COVID, has minimal risks. Employees of Rospotrebnadzor, the Ministry of Health RB, together with the Directorate for the Folkloriada, have prepared a step-by-step procedure for monitoring the condition of participants and measures to respond to emerging situations”, Amina Shafikova posted on her Facebook page.
