Radiy Khabirov took part in seminar on national projects implementation in construction

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, took part in a seminar meeting on implementing national projects in the field of housing construction and development of territories, which was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the country Marat Khusnullin.

The seminar took place at the Coordination Center of the Russian Government on June 24.

The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Kiriyenko, Aide to the President of Russia, Secretary of the State Council Igor Levitin, heads of federal and regional authorities.

In his speech, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin outlined the Government and governors' main tasks: creating comfortable cities and a convenient transport network, improving living standards, and increasing safety. As priorities for spatial development, he singled out increasing housing affordability, including through preferential mortgages, the development of individual construction, integrated development of territories, resettlement of emergency housing.

Within the seminar framework, the Head of Bashkortostan acted as a moderator of the working group on the analysis of the market for individual housing construction. Its participants - senators of the Federation Council, deputies of the State Duma of Russia, heads of federal authorities, and heads of regions - discussed financial and economic instruments that stimulate the development of the industry, increase its investment attractiveness, and mechanisms for creating the necessary engineering infrastructure.

In January-April 2021, 940.4 thousand square meters of housing were built in Bashkortostan, which is 31.7 percent higher than the level of the same period in 2020. At the same time, the share of individual housing construction was 61 percent.

To increase housing affordability in Bashkortostan, federal programs of concessional lending are being implemented - family and rural mortgages and a support program for large families, under which a state subsidy for mortgage repayment of up to 450 thousand rubles is provided.

For each of the programs, the republic is among the ten best regions of Russia, and for rural mortgages, it ranks first in the country. Since the beginning of 2021, 619 preferential rural mortgage loans for 1.3 billion rubles have been issued in the region.

Following the tasks of the Housing and Urban Environment national project for 2021, it is necessary to build more than 2.2 million square meters of housing in Bashkortostan.
