Almost 155 thousand residents of 60+ are vaccinated against COVID-19 in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, as of June 11, 398 692 residents jabbed the first dose of the vaccine, of which 154 692 citizens over 60 years old - this is 38% of all vaccinated. 318 763 people fully completed vaccination with both doses, of which 131 472 are senior citizens.
Sputnik V is one of the first vaccines approved by the RF Ministry of Health for the vaccination of people over 60 years of age. Doctors recommend a comprehensive physical examination before vaccination.
Older people tolerate vaccination easily, without side effects, doctors say. This is due to the peculiarities of the body's immune response.
You can even get vaccinated with various chronic diseases; the main thing is that they are not in an exacerbation phase. If the chronic ailment has worsened, the vaccination should be postponed until the condition returns to normal, doctors say.
Experts recommend that the vaccine be administered twice with an interval of 21 days so that the immune response is well-formed. Full immunity will be formed no earlier than 42-45 days after the first vaccination. Before developing antibodies, safety measures should be taken - avoid crowds, wear a mask in public places, often wash your hands with soap or treat them with an antiseptic.
