Russians this year will have three days off in honor of the Day of Russia celebration - June 12, 13, and 14.

Since June 12 in 2021 falls on a day off - Saturday, the law provides for one more non-working day. The additional day off is postponed to the next working day after the holiday. This additional day off in 2021 is June 14.

On June 11, working hours are shorter in all regions of the country.

Day of Russia is a public holiday of the Russian Federation, celebrated annually on June 12.

On this day in 1990, the First Congress of People's Deputies of the RSFSR adopted the Declaration on State Sovereignty of Russia, which proclaimed the supremacy of the Russian Constitution and its laws.

Day of Russia is celebrated throughout the country on June 12.
