295 thousand residents of Bashkiria jabbed both doses of COVID-19 vaccine

295 thousand residents of Bashkiria had the first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine injected, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health of the region Maxim Zabelin said at a briefing session in the government on Monday.

As Zabelin noted, the rate of vaccination in the region has increased, but there are still its reserves. This week Bashkiria will receive another 20 thousand doses of vaccines.

"As of June 7, more than 428 thousand doses of vaccine have been delivered to the republic to prevent the new coronavirus infection. To date, 385 thousand people have been vaccinated with the first dose. That is 89 percent of the vaccine received. In addition, vaccination has been fully completed in more than 295 thousand people who had the first and second doses of the vaccine jabbed," the Minister of Health of Bashkiria stated.
