Iremel Natural Park is expanding and preparing new wooden trails for tourists

The Directorate for Specially Protected Natural Areas of the Republic of Bashkortostan won a grant from the All-Russian Fund "Beautiful Children in a Beautiful World" for the project "Preservation of soil cover and species diversity of vegetation, exclusion of soil degradation on the trails of the Iremel Natural Park."
A month ago, Mirdar Diyarov, who had previously worked as a senior inspector for the Uchaly zone, headed the Iremel Park as an acting director. According to him, the park will start implementing the grant in the near future since almost all of May; the employees were engaged in fire extinguishing.
"The amount of the grant was 1 million rubles. Basically, the funds will be used to build wooden decks on the paths in the Iremel Park," Mirdar Diyarov says. "The fact is that there is a lot of swampiness in the park; we need to expand tourist trails since the flow of tourists increases every year. The ability to localize visitors on wooden trails will not only increase the quality of movement, the aesthetic appeal of the location but also have a positive effect on the restoration of the soil cover."
