State Assembly deputies took part in meeting on supporting families with children

Deputies of the State Assembly - Kurultay of Bashkortostan took part in a meeting of the discussion platform with the participation of women deputies of the Volga Federal District on the topic “Growth of the Families Welfare. Support for Families with Children”.

The discussion was moderated by Tatyana Larionova, Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, head of the union of women-deputies “Markhamat-Miloserdie.”

Deputy Chairperson of the State Assembly - Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan Elvira Aitkulova told her colleagues about implementing legislation in the field of health protection of families with children in Bashkortostan. The vice speaker paid special attention to the organization of medical checkups as the most important tool for detecting diseases at an early stage.

Thus, in January-April in Bashkortostan, more than 273 thousand people underwent preventive medical examination and checkup - 14 464 cases of diseases were detected. In the first place in terms of prevalence - diseases of the circulatory system (5232 cases), in the second - the digestive system (1822), in the third - the respiratory system (1156). The medical checkup helps identify socially significant diseases, including tuberculosis, malignant tumors, and diabetes mellitus.

Deputy Chairperson of the Saratov Regional Duma, Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy Olga Bolyakina, told parliamentarians about the legal aspects of supporting families with children in the Saratov region. First Deputy Chairperson of the Samara Provincial Duma Yekaterina Kuzmicheva presented information on the support of families with children in the education system of the Samara region. Svetlana Kiseleva, Chairperson of the Committee of the State Assembly of the Republic of Mordovia on Budget, Finance, and Taxes, made a presentation “Improving the welfare of families with children in cooperation with non-profit organizations”.

The deputies approved the draft recommendations following the meeting of the discussion platform.
