274 thousand residents were vaccinated against coronavirus in Bashkortostan

In Bashkortostan, 274 thousand residents got their jabs against coronavirus infection.

As of May 31, 360 406 residents of the republic were vaccinated with the first dose, 274 381 people were vaccinated with the second dose, the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan Maxim Zabelin, said at a briefing session.

The region has already received 406,414 doses of Sputnik V, EpiVacCorona, and CoviVac vaccines.

One can get vaccinated against coronavirus through the registry or the State Services portal at 167 vaccination points, including mobile ones.

In addition, the vaccination can be done within the framework of the "Healthy Republic - Healthy Region" campaign in mobile health stations, which, since April 19, have left on six routes to remote settlements.

On May 14, competition among those vaccinated against coronavirus started in Ufa. Valuable prizes will be drawn among the competition participants live on the TV channel "All Ufa" on June 23, including a one-room apartment in Ufa and ten smartphones of the latest model released. The campaign will last until June 20.

The Head of Bashkortostan stressed that the rate of vaccination should be increased.

The total number of cases of coronavirus infection in Bashkortostan as of May 31 is 38,201 people. During the day, 90 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed.
