Bashkiria recorded increase in imported cases of COVID-19

An increase in the number of imported cases of the new coronavirus infection has again been recorded in Bashkiria. First Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic Gulnara Zinnurova announced this at a briefing. According to her, the disease is mainly brought by residents of other regions and locals who have returned from abroad.

“There is a high incidence rate among people 60 and older. There is a decrease in morbidity among children in all age groups,” the official said.

The representative of the ministry noted that vaccination would be the only protection against infection currently. In general, the epidemiological situation in the region is characterized by stability.
