Ildar Abdrazakov Festival 2021 takes place in seven cities of Russia

On May 27, the 4th International Music Festival of Ildar Abdrazakov will begin in Ufa. Ildar Abdrazakov timed the grand opening on the stage of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater to the birthday of his teacher Milyausha Murtazina.

The singer invited opera stars and the best graduates of the famous professor's class to congratulate her on her 95th birthday: Elena Stikhina, Vasily Ladyuk, Vladislav Sulimsky, Askar Abdrazakov, Dilyara Idrisova, Alfia Karimova, Idris Gaziev, Vladimir Kopytov, Rail Kuchelov, Vladimir Belov. Popular arias and duets from operas by Russian and foreign composers will sound accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Conductor - Dmitry Kryukov.

The fourth festival has seriously expanded its format and geography. If the first season in 2018 was concentrated in Ufa, the second and third covered four regional centers, then in 2021, the project is presented in seven cities. In addition to Ufa, Novosibirsk (June 28), Tomsk (June 30), Tyumen (July 1), Tobolsk (July 3) and Astrakhan (July 7) first appeared on the map of the show. A large-scale educational program of the festival and a gala concert took place in Moscow in February.

According to the idea of Ildar Abdrazakov, the concert part of the festival is traditionally complemented by masterclasses. In 2021, the masterclasses were held from February 1 to 10 at the Moscow Conservatory and aroused great interest. About 500 applications were submitted for participation in the program from Russia, Austria, Belarus, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Italy, Kazakhstan, Moldova, and Ukraine. Ildar Abdrazakov, Veronika Dzhioeva, Ekaterina Semenchuk, Vasily Ladyuk, Dmitry Korchak, Dmitry Vdovin acted as coaches of the masterclasses. The events were broadcast online and attracted the attention of viewers around the world - more than 150,000 views in Russia and 40 countries.

14 best participants of the program performed at the gala concert "Ildar Abdrazakov and Friends" on the stage of the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory on February 8. Many of the young vocalists were invited to the regional tour and foreign projects of Ildar Abdrazakov. The educational program of the Fourth Festival will continue in Novosibirsk and Astrakhan.

The 4th Ildar Abdrazakov International Music Festival is organized by the Foundation for the Support and Promotion of Young Talents and the Development of International Cultural Relations, which he established in 2016. Since its start in 2018, more than 10,000 people and a multi-million audience of TV and online broadcasts have seen the festival's events, and about 500 young vocalists have taken part in the educational program.
