More than 14.8 thousand residents of Bashkiria applied for medical care in the "Health Trailers" within the framework of the "Healthy Republic - Healthy Region" campaign. 10,412 examinations were carried out, including 6,956 fluorographs, 3,456 mammograms.

685 citizens had elevated blood glucose levels, 764 - elevated blood cholesterol levels, 1455 - high blood pressure, 822 had overweight, 581 had a smoking habit.

499 socially significant diseases were identified, including suspected malignant neoplasms - in 107 people, diabetes mellitus - in 51 people, tuberculosis - in 4 people, hypertension - in 337 people, myocardial infarction - in one person, the regional Ministry of Health reports.

As part of the campaign, 1,933 people underwent the first stage of vaccination, including 995 people over 60 years old. 573 people (53 citizens over 60 years old) fully completed vaccination against the new coronavirus infection.

"All citizens with suspected or detected socially significant diseases were sent for additional examination to clarify the diagnosis, treatment and were followed-up," the department informs.

The formed medical teams will continue their work in six districts of the republic next week.
