Lilac Week is taking place in Ufa

The South Ural Botanical Garden - Institute invites residents of Ufa and guests of the city to the Lilac Week from May 17 to 21.

The Lilac Week is an opportunity to see, photograph, and enjoy the aroma of many varieties of blooming lilacs of domestic and foreign selection!

Hundreds of bushes are now blooming in the territory of the garden! Currently, the lilac collection includes 16 species and more than 200 varieties.

As part of Lilac Week, visitors to the botanical garden can take daily excursions to the collection of lilacs. The excursions are conducted by Natalya Polyakova, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Senior Researcher, member of the International Lilac Society.
