Almost 225 thousand residents of Bashkiria got vaccinated against COVID-19

224 864 people were vaccinated against the new coronavirus infection in Bashkiria as of May 17. These people received two doses of the drug. 310,496 residents of the region jabbed the first dose, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Health of the Republic Maxim Zabelin said.

In the region, 155 COVID-19 vaccination points have been organized in polyclinics. One can sign up for vaccination through the "Gosuslugi" portal and through the registry. Also, five mobile points have been organized - at the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater, the Mega, Planeta, and Bashkiria shopping centers in Ufa, and CityMall in Sterlitamak.

The vaccination can be done as part of the "Healthy Republic - Healthy Region" campaign in mobile health stations, which, since April 19, have departed on six routes to remote settlements.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that in Ufa, a campaign among the vaccinated began on May 14. To participate, one needs to be vaccinated at one of the vaccination points, receive a flyer with a unique QR code, and register it on the Healthy Ufa website. Valuable prizes will be drawn among the participants live on the TV channel "All Ufa" on June 23, including a one-room apartment in Ufa and ten smartphones of the latest model. The campaign will last until June 20.
