Russian President instructed to tighten rules for weapons circulation after tradegy in Kazan school

Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to urgently work out the tightening of the rules for the circulation of weapons after the tragedy in the Kazan school. On May 11, this was announced to reporters by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.
"A separate instruction was given (to the head of the National Guard, Viktor Zolotov) so that a new regulation on the types of weapons that may be in civilian circulation, taking into account the type of small arms used by the shooter, was urgently worked out", TASS quotes the Kremlin representative.
According to him, now it is possible to legally register certain types of hunting weapons, which, in fact, are not hunting weapons, which in some countries are used as assault weapons. Dmitry Peskov stressed that the new regulation should eliminate these contradictions.
As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, in Kazan, eight people were killed during the shooting at a school: seven students and a teacher. 16 people - 12 children, four adults were hospitalized. The 19-year-old terrorist was arrested. The former student of this school, who committed the massacre of children and employees of the educational institution, officially registered his weapon in April this year.
