Head of Bashkiria thanked all participants of "Garden of Remembrance" campaign

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, thanked all the "Garden of Remembrance " campaign participants. The large-scale event is timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War.

"Around the world, 27 million seedlings will be planted to commemorate each of the 27 million deaths. This campaign is an example of the fact that we are together, together with the whole country, together with the entire planet, '' Radiy Khabirov posted on his social media.

Next week, the "Garden of Remembrance" will be held in the Orenburg region, Radiy Khabirov added.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, the international campaign "Garden of Remembrance" is being held in Russia and abroad from April 23 to May 23.

Simultaneously with it, another large-scale campaign, "Green Bashkiria", was launched in the republic. It is held in the region twice a year. In 2019-2020, its participants planted more than 310 thousand trees and bushes.

This year, within the framework of Green Bashkiria, it is planned to plant 10 thousand large-sized trees and 101 thousand trees and shrubs. Presumably, the total number of participants in the campaign throughout the republic should reach 150 thousand people.
