Distinction badge for vaccinated against COVID-19 will appear in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, a distinction badge will appear for those vaccinated against COVID-19. The Minister of Health of the Republic Maxim Zabelin told about this at a briefing session in the government.

“From now on, each vaccinated person will be given a badge of distinction, with the help of which it will be possible to identify the person who received the vaccine. This became possible due to the support of the regional branch of the United Russia party, ” the Minister of Health said.

He also noted that to date, 144,282 residents of Bashkiria have fully completed immunization against coronavirus, this is 49% of all received vaccines. 240,218 people were vaccinated with the first dose, which is 81% of the total received vaccine. In total, since the end of last year, the republic received 295 832 doses of the vaccines "GamCovidVac", "EpiVacCorona".

Over the past weekend, 15 thousand people were jabbed with the first and second doses of the vaccine. The next batch is expected from April 26 to 28, more than 18 thousand doses of the vaccine are planned to be distributed.

The Minister also drew attention to the fact that during the holidays, all vaccination points will work seven days a week so that residents can be vaccinated with both the first and second components. The schedules of their work will be announced later, Zabelin added.

In total, there are 155 vaccination points in the region, including five as part of the Health Mobile Teams.

According to the Ministry of Health RB, 97 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been detected in the republic over the past day. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 34,983 people have become ill with coronavirus. Over the entire period, 32,500 people recovered from the disease, including 171 over the past day. 157 patients remain in hospitals, 11 of them are in serious condition.

1,918 people infected with COVID are treated on an outpatient basis.
