ARVI incidence is growing in Bashkiria

An increase in the ARVI incidence is observed in the republic. According to the regional office of Rospotrebnadzor, according to the results of the 15th week of the year (April 12-18), the diagnosis was confirmed in 25,519 people.

Thus, in Ufa, 5,943 people fell ill with ARVI. Compared to the previous week, the percentage decreased by 8.7 percentage points.

Meanwhile, it is noted that the incidence rate in the region is at the level of the epidemic threshold. In Ufa, it is 12.8% lower. About 50% of cases are children under 17 years of age.

During the 15th week of this year, 551 people were laboratory tested for influenza and ARVI viruses. The diagnosis was confirmed in 15.6% of the number of tests.
