Today the Republican Cardiology Center celebrates its 40th anniversary; over the years, it has become one of the leaders in Russia in its area.
For 40 years, about 2.5 million patients have received consultations here, and more than half a million people have been treated in hospital departments. More than 17 thousand operations are carried out annually, more than 13 thousand patients receive treatment, at least 15-20 new surgical techniques are introduced into practice.
Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov congratulated the staff of the cardiology center on the big anniversary today. He noted that this is a significant event for the health care system of our republic.
He presented state awards to 12 doctors and paramedics of the republican cardiology center.
The special pride of the institution can be called the cardiac surgery service, created here in 2001. Thanks to the work of doctors, thousands of hearts continue to beat. The staff does everything possible and impossible to give patients a new life.
In 2013, for the first time in the republic, heart transplantation surgeries were performed at the cardio center. In just seven years, 31 such operations were performed in the region.
The Republican Cardiology Center is among the top five of more than a hundred clinics in Russia performing such surgical interventions as correction of acquired heart valve defects, congenital heart defects in adults and children from 3 to 17 years old, heart-lung surgery, pacemaker implantation, coronary artery bypass grafting, correction CHD in adults.
According to the chief physician of the cardiology center Irina Nikolaeva, it is essential that the residents of the republic live long and efficiently, and their specialists make every effort to this.
Currently, the Republican Cardiology Center employs 975 employees. Among 283 doctors - 1 Honored Doctor of Russia, 18 Honored Physicians of Bashkortostan, 5 Healthcare Excellence Workers of the Russian Federation, 71 Healthcare Excellence Workers of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The center employs five doctors of medical sciences and 33 candidates of medical sciences.
Great responsibility for the effectiveness of the treatment and diagnostic process lies with 458 paramedics.
From January 1, 2021, the Cardiovascular Risk Management Center was opened here one of the first in the country.
In 2019, the construction of a new surgical building of the Republican Cardiology Center began. They will treat cardiovascular diseases, consult, operate on patients using modern medical and diagnostic technologies on ten floors of the building with high-tech equipment.
The cost of all works is 6.2 billion rubles, of which 2.8 billion are from the federal budget, 3.4 billion are allocated by the budget of Bashkortostan.
