Abilympics National Championship regional stage has started in Bashkiria

From 19 to 24 April, the 7th Regional qualifying stage of the National Championship in professional skills among the disabled and people with disabilities Abilympics is being held in Bashkortostan.

More than 600 participants in 72 competencies will perform at the venues of professional educational organizations of Salavat, Sterlitamak, Ufa, Blagoveshchensk.

For the first time, the competitions of the Abilympics Regional Championship were organized in new directions - in the field of the beauty industry, hotel and restaurant services, entrepreneurship, trade, industrial production, construction, and digital technologies.

Public organizations of disabled people Sterlitamak, Salavat, Meleuz, presented their participants. Experienced foremen of PJSC "UEC Ufa Engine-Building Production Association" will take part in the "specialists" category.

The business program of the championship will include a seminar on the development of the Abilympics movement and inclusive education in the system of secondary vocational education in the Volga Federal District. Events in the format of scientific and practical conferences, round tables, methodological seminars, webinars, masterclasses will be devoted to the support of young people with disabilities in the process of career guidance, mastering vocational education and training programs, promoting employment and social and professional adaptation of people with disabilities.

The winners of the Abilympics Regional Championship will go to the 7th Abilympics National Professional Skills Championship for the disabled and people with disabilities, which will be held in Moscow in November 2021.
