About 120 thousand trees will be planted as part of "Green Bashkiria" campaign

On April 24, within the framework of the Green Bashkiria campaign, it is planned to plant 119 thousand trees and bushes. During a briefing session in the republic government, the Acting Minister of Housing and Utility Services of the Republic of Bashkortostan Irina Golovanova told about it.

About 150 thousand people have been registered to participate in environmental events this coming Saturday.

"A special feature of the spring campaign will also be tree planting dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War," she said.

For example, in honor of this date, an alley of 80 lilacs will be planted in the Askinsky district. An alley will be planted in the Kushnarenkovsky district in honor of the 90th anniversary of the district. In the Karmaskalinsky district, they are preparing to plant the largest number of trees, of which 92 are large trees and 14.5 thousand are other plantations (bushes, trees up to three meters). It is planned to plant a quarter of the total number of large trees in the republic in the Iglinsky region.
