All-Russia People's Front and Rostourism launched hotline on flights restriction to Turkey

One can ask questions related to Russia's flight restriction to Turkey and Tanzania on the hotline 8-800-200-34-11 (in the voice menu, press the number "2"). This is an initiative of the All-Russia People's Front and Rostourism with the Roscongress Foundation's support. Volunteers of the all-Russian campaign of mutual assistance #MyVmeste will answer the questions. The call is free. The hotline works from 08.00 am to 08.00 pm Moscow time.
"The situation with COVID-19 has led to restrictions on flights from Russia to Turkey and Tanzania. We understand that some Russians have already purchased summer tours to these areas. All-Russia People's Front and Rostourism are doing everything possible to assist people who find themselves in a difficult situation, so it was decided to open an additional hotline", the coordinator of the All-Russia People's Front project "Traveling in Russia" Denis Polunchukov said.
The main questions with which tourists call the hotline are: how to get money back for the purchased trips, what shall Russians on vacation in Turkey or Tanzania now do, what to do if the tour operator does not answer calls, whether it is necessary to stay upon returning to Russia on mandatory self-isolation.
The Russian Federation restricts regular, and charter flights with Turkey from April 15 to June 1 to prevent spreading the new coronavirus infection, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said on April 12. Besides, flights between Russia and Tanzania will be suspended from April 15 to June 1.
Note that a trip purchased to Turkey or Tanzania can be exchanged for a trip to Russia upon agreement with the tour operator.
