Ufa will host wide-scale volunteer clean-ups

This Saturday, April 3, a wide-scale clean-up volunteer event will take place in Ufa. As part of the event, organizations will have to put in order the facades of buildings, fences under their jurisdiction. They should also organize work on cleaning snow, collecting and removing garbage, cleaning roofs of buildings and structures, removing ice, deicing sidewalks, and landscaping the adjacent territories.

Heads of enterprises, organizations, and institutions are recommended to take measures to clean the assigned territories.

"Together, we can make our city, streets, and courtyards clean, landscaped, and comfortable for living. We urge residents not to stand aside and invite all citizens to take part in the spring work on the improvement, sanitary cleaning of streets and courtyards," the city hall reports.

As a reminder, citywide clean-ups in Ufa are scheduled for April 10 and 24.
