95 thousand people were fully vaccinated against coronavirus in Bashkiria

95 thousand residents of Bashkiria received two doses of vaccination with a drug against the new coronavirus infection. 132 thousand were vaccinated with the first dose, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Health Maxim Zabelin said at a weekly briefing session in the republic's government.

According to the Minister, there are 134 permanent and five mobile vaccination points in the region.

"The issue of opening several more mobile points is being considered. At the moment, 2,000 people have been vaccinated there," Maxim Zabelin said.

According to the republican emergency operations center for combating COVID-19, 32,252 residents of Bashkiria have a laboratory-confirmed diagnosis of the new coronavirus infection. Over the past day, 108 new cases have been identified. 242 patients receive treatment in hospitals, five of them are in serious condition. 4,372 people are undergoing outpatient medical treatment.

The republic is also reducing the number of beds for patients with a new coronavirus infection. Today 1,968 COVID beds are available, 84% are occupied.
