The Ansat medical helicopter made 25 flights in three months of operation in Bashkiria.

It should be reminded that the republic acquired a helicopter with a medical module for sanitary aviation within the national project "Healthcare" last year.

The vehicle has great potential for quick delivery of the injured and sick to hospitals. Medical modules can monitor a person's condition and, if necessary, carry out intensive therapy in the scope of specialized medical care.

Currently, there are helipads for medical aviation in the Republican Clinical Perinatal Center and the clinic of Bashkir State Medical University in Ufa. In the regions, helipads are located in close proximity to the central regional hospitals - for the convenience and speed of transporting patients, the regional Ministry of Health told the agency.

As Bashinform reported earlier, in 2024, it is planned to create a territorial network of 10 air ambulance helipads in Bashkiria; the number of sorties should increase to 111.

According to experts, the republic's annual need for emergency movement of patients with the help of air ambulance is about 290 people.

This year, it is planned to make at least 84 flights on the Ansat. For these purposes, over 85 million rubles have been allocated from the federal budget.
