Bashkiria is in Top three in terms of applications for presidential grants

Bashkiria entered the Top three regions in terms of the number of applications submitted for the presidential grants competition. According to the Resource Center of the Office of the Regional Public Chamber, a record number of applications were submitted for the second competition for presidential grants in 2021 - 542 applications (for comparison, 415 applications were submitted in the second competition for presidential grants in 2020), due to which the republic took the third place in the country, excluding Moscow.

The first place was taken by the Belgorod region (670 applications), the second - by the Volgograd region (551 applications). Bashkortostan took first place among the Volga Federal District regions, ahead of Tatarstan (352 applications) and the Samara region (289 applications).

The press service of the Public Chamber RB clarified that republican projects are presented in 11 grant directions. The most popular grant direction among the participants of the competition in Bashkortostan was "Health Protection of Citizens, Promotion of a Healthy Lifestyle" - 133 projects. "Social Service, Social Support and Protection of Citizens" is in second place with 82 projects. "Support for projects in the Field of Science, Education, Enlightenment" is third with 65 projects.

Applications for the 2nd competition in 2021 were submitted from 54 municipalities. Most of all applications were from non-profit organizations from Ufa, Sibay, Sterlitamak, Gafuriysky, and Blagoveshchensky districts.
