WorldSkills Russia final venue is determined in Ufa

In Ufa, the venue for the final of the 9th National Championship "Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia)" is defined. The final will be held in the traditional face-to-face format from July 21 to 25. An area of ​​170 thousand sq m will be located near Mega shopping mall in Rubezhnaya Street. The project name of the place is the Park of Young Professionals.

According to the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy Rustam Muratov, work on the site began on March 20.

More than 1,800 competitors will take part in the championship in 2021, of which over 600 are juniors. About 2000 people will represent the expert community. The championship will also be joined by representatives from the Asia-Pacific region and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Competitions will be held in 105 competencies, divided into seven blocks: construction and construction technologies; information and communication technologies; creativity and design; production and engineering technologies; services sector; transport and logistic; education. Competitions among juniors in the WorldSkills Russia Juniors direction are planned for 51 competencies.

The business program of the final is scheduled for July 22-24 at the Toratau Congress Hall and will include several thematic tracks. Speakers and moderators will discuss issues of personnel training, interaction with regional coordination centers, the formation of new competencies, a demonstration exam according to WorldSkills Russia standards and other projects of the movement, best regional practices.

The opening ceremony of the championship will take place on July 21, the closing ceremony and awarding of the winners - on July 25. The events are planned to be held in the Ufa-Arena ice palace.

Qualifying competitions for participation in the WorldSkills Russia - 2021 national final in 137 competencies will be held in the country's regions from April 1 to April 30, 2021.
