Train with Bashkortostan and Ufa symbols will appear in Moscow metro

A train with Bashkortostan and Ufa's symbols will soon appear in the Moscow metro, the mayor of the Bashkir capital Sergei Grekov said.

The idea was discussed last weekend by the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, and the Deputy Mayor of Moscow Maxim Liksutov.

"Such branding will greatly promote Ufa and Bashkortostan among Muscovites and guests of the capital. Ufa residents who find themselves in Moscow will more often remember about their home," Sergei Grekov stated.

On March 22, at a briefing session in the Government, the Head of Bashkiria said that at a meeting with Liksutov, an agreement was also reached that specialists from the Moscow Design Institute would come to Ufa to assess the city's transport system. Based on the results of the visit, recommendations will be given to Ufa specialists.

"We definitely have a lot to learn from Moscow," Radiy Khabirov marked.
