More than 2.3 million flowers will decorate Ufa flower beds in spring

This year, the Gorzelenkhoz enterprise will plant more than 2.3 million annual flowers on the Ufa flower beds, the city administration reported.

Of these, about 2.1 million items will be delivered to Ufa by the company that won the electronic auction. The delivery of flowers to the Bashkir capital will begin on April 29.

Traditionally, the planting of all flowers will end before June 10-11, before the celebration of Russia Day and City Day.

Another 260 thousand annual flowers for future flower beds and flower beds will be grown at the Ufa Gorzelenkhoz enterprise.

Basically, cineraria, petunias, and marigolds will be planted in Ufa.

"We plan to grow almost 260 thousand plants. Now there are about 130 thousand flowers in the greenhouse. In March, the same number will be planted in greenhouses," Denis Artemyev, head of the first production department of green building at Gorzelenhoz said. "The planting of the first batch of annuals adapted to our climatic conditions is planned on the eve of the May holidays at the sites where festive events are traditionally held - in the Victory and Lenin parks, the square of the 112th cavalry division, in flower beds near the Ufa administration."

In total, the Gorzelenkhoz enterprise landscapes more than 100 objects - parks, squares, alleys, boulevards, city gardens, and forests.
