Bashkiria Emergency Ministry warns of ground blizzard and storm wind

The Emergency Situations Ministry of Bashkiria warns residents of the republic about the worsening weather conditions. According to forecasters, in the afternoon on March 18, a ground blizzard is expected in some areas of the republic with an increase in wind up to 15-20 m/s, a deterioration of visibility to 500 m or less.

According to the Emergency Situations Ministry of Bashkiria, when the wind increases to 20 m/s, tree trunks swing, large branches bend, it is difficult to go against such a wind. Due to the intense wind load, billboards installed along the streets may be overturned. Broken small trees, large branches can block internal driveways and highways; damage to power lines is possible.
