30 Bashkiria residents are in serious condition with COVID-19

Daily data on the incidence of a new coronavirus infection were presented at a Government RB briefing session.

Over the past 24 hours, the diagnosis of COVID-19 was confirmed in 125 residents of Bashkiria. Thus, a total of 30,559 infected people were registered in the republic.

267 people continue to undergo treatment in hospitals, of which 228 are moderately severe, 30 are severe, 9 people over the age of 75 are in satisfactory condition, the Deputy Prime, Minister of Health RB Maxim Zabelin informed.

The number of infectious beds in hospitals in the region is decreasing. Now their number is 2068 beds, of which 1200 are in Ufa. The occupancy rate is 76.4%.

As of March 15, 65 thousand Bashkiria residents have jabbed the first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, the minister added.
