Frosts to 30 degrees below zero are expected in Bashkiria

A cold snap is expected in the next three days in Bashkiria again with lows of -30 C, the republic's forecasters inform.

According to Bashkir Met Office, today, it will be cloudy in the region. In the morning and in the afternoon, snow showers, heavy snow, and blizzard are predicted in some areas. Snowdrifts, packed snow, ice are possible on the roads. The wind will be south-eastern with a transition to the northern 9-14 meters per second.

The air temperature during the day is -8-13 C below zero, in the south - 3 C.

Snowdrifts, packed snow, ice are likely on the roads with the deterioration of visibility up to 500 meters or less.

On March 11, light snow showers are expected in Bashkiria at night, moderate in the east, blizzards in some places. Snowdrifts, packed snow, ice are likely on the roads. Light snow is forecasted in some places during the day. The wind will be northern, moderate, with strong gusts in some areas at night.

The air temperature at night -18-23 C, with lows of -28 during the bright intervals. In the daytime, the temperature will reach 13-18 degrees below zero.

On March 12, light occasional snow showers are expected at night and no significant precipitation in the daytime. The wind will be north-western, moderate.

At night, the air temperature will be -20-25 C, dropping to -30 C in the bright periods. It will be warmer during the day -10-15 C.
