Flights from Moscow to Ufa hit the Top 10 most popular destinations this winter. These are the data of a study conducted by the Analytical Center for Travel and Travel Service Tutu.ru.
The average fare for a flight across the country was 6,252 rubles per one-way ticket. This is 9% less than a year ago when the average ticket price reached 6,861 rubles.
According to analysts, the demand for flights this year continues to recover. According to sales data of Tutu.ru, this winter, 13% more flights were performed in the country than a year earlier.
The most popular flights in the winter of 2021 were flights on the directions Moscow - Sochi, Moscow - St. Petersburg, Moscow - Simferopol, Moscow - Krasnodar, and Moscow - Mineralnye Vody.
Simultaneously, among the Top 5 destinations, prices were lower than last year's only for the Moscow - St. Petersburg route (-29%). Prices increased by 4-6% at the other four routes.
"The top 20 popular air destinations in Russia are generally quite stable, but there is an increase in demand for flights to Makhachkala and Volgograd. The positions of these cities have become higher in the overall ranking. And, on the contrary, the directions Moscow - Krasnoyarsk, and Moscow - Tyumen dropped out of the Top 20, compared to last winter," the study says.
The Moscow-Sochi air route took first place in the rating. The average cost of a one-way ticket from December 1, 2020, to February 28, 2021, was 4,888 rubles.
In second place is Moscow - St. Petersburg. The average one-way check for this air route amounted to 2,544 rubles.
The third most popular route is Moscow - Simferopol - an average of 5,039 rubles one way.
The flight from Moscow to Krasnodar cost 4 393 rubles one way this winter, from Moscow to Mineralnye Vody - 4 211 rubles.
The sixth line of the rating was taken by the flights Moscow - Makhachkala. The average cost of a one-way air ticket was 4,006 rubles this winter.
The flight from Moscow to Yekaterinburg cost an average of 4,020 rubles, from Moscow to Rostov-on-Don - for 5,441 rubles, from Moscow to Kaliningrad - for 3,883 rubles.
The Moscow-Ufa air route took the tenth line of the rating. The average cost of a one-way ticket was RUB 3,794.
The Top 20 most popular flights also include Moscow - Novosibirsk, Moscow - Novosibirsk, Moscow - Volgograd, Moscow - Kazan, Moscow - Saratov, Moscow - Chelyabinsk, St. Petersburg - Krasnodar, Moscow - Murmansk, Moscow - Samara, Moscow - Tyumen, and Moscow - Omsk.
