29 residents of Bashkiria diagnosed with COVID-19 are in serious condition

Daily data on the new coronavirus infection incidence were presented at a briefing session in the Government RB.

Over the past 24 hours, the diagnosis of COVID-19 was confirmed in 133 residents of Bashkiria. Thus, a total of 29,790 infected people were registered on the territory of the republic.

270 people continue to undergo treatment in hospitals, of which 29 are in the intensive care unit. At home, 5,246 people carry the disease in a mild form, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Health RB Maxim Zabelin said. The death toll from the virus has increased by two to 303.

Currently, the number of infectious beds in hospitals in the region is decreasing. Now their number is 2068 beds. The occupancy rate is 87%.

COVID hospitals at the Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital, Ufa Emergency Hospital were returned to regular operation. Infectious diseases centers in the cities of Salavat and Oktyabrsky were closed. Two infectious diseases hospitals are admitting patients with COVID-19 at the Dema hospital and hospital No. 18 in Ufa as well as the Ufa Infectious Diseases Hospital No. 4 and COVID centers in Zubovo and Sterlitamak.
