More than 80 thousand Bashkiria residents were jabbed with first part of "Gam-COVID-Vaс"

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, more than 80.4 thousand people have been vaccinated with the first part "Gam-COVID-Vac" in the republic, and 26 thousand people have been vaccinated with the second component. The Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Health of the region Maxim Zabelin announced this at a briefing session in the government.

Bashkiria received a total of 120 thousand doses of the vaccine. Of these, 11,000 doses arrived in the region over the weekend, Zabelin informed.

"A significant increase in the number of vaccines is promised in March. Moreover, the vaccine will be received not only from the Gamaleya Institute but the EpiVacCorona vaccine from the Vector Institute," said the Deputy Prime Minister appointed today.

As the Bashinform News Agency reported, more than 28.7 thousand cases of the coronavirus have been registered in Bashkiria at the moment.

"80 percent of the total number of cases, or 23 thousand people, have been discharged from hospitals with recovery. I would like to note that the number of those discharged from hospitals exceeds the number of new cases over the past ten days. For example, 140 people were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours alone," the Minister of Health stated.
