Russian Government allocates 1.5 billion rubles to accelerate Eastern exit completion in Ufa

The Russian Government will allocate 100 billion rubles to the regions to speed up road construction, of which 1.5 billion will go to Bashkiria to finance additional workы on the Eastern exit in Ufa, the Ministry of Transport of Bashkiria reported.

Eastern exit is one of the largest and most technically complex projects in the country. A new exit to the M5 Ural highway will appear in Ufa. The facility is being built under the concession agreement signed on June 1, 2017, between the Government RB and Bashkir Concession Company LLC.

The facility's construction cost is 33.5 billion rubles, of which 19.99 billion rubles are federal budget funds, 4.5 billion rubles are funds from the budget of Bashkiria, 9.1 billion rubles are funds of the concessionaire.

The project includes a road tunnel, a bridge over the Ufa River in the alignment of Halle Street; a road from the bridge to M5.

Now the facility employs 987 people and 130 construction machinery. At the end of 2020, the technical readiness of the facility was 8.6%.
