More than 28 thousand people fell ill with coronavirus in Bashkiria since pandemic beginning

Four more people died from the coronavirus infection in Bashkiria in a day. In total, 269 people have died from COVID-19 in the republic, according to the stopcoronavirus.ru website.

Over the past day, 140 new cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in the region. Conversely, 184 people recovered.

In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 28.3 thousand cases have been registered in the republic. More than 22.5 thousand of them have recovered to date.

In Russia since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 4.223 million coronavirus cases have been identified, of which 85.3 thousand people have died.

Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, the number of community-acquired pneumonia cases per day decreased slightly in the republic and amounted to 178 people. The number of people discharged from hospitals, on the contrary, increased to 190 people.
