Bashkiria Labor Ministry informed about long weekend on March 8

Next week, Russians will have a long weekend in honor of International Women's Day, the Ministry of Labor of Bashkiria recalled.

March 8 - International Women's Day - is a non-working holiday in Russia. This year it falls on Monday.

"Thus, the days off in connection with the holiday with a five-day working week are March 6, 7, and 8, 2021," the department explained.

When providing the annual basic or annual additional paid leave, the non-working holiday on March 8 is not included in the number of leave calendar days.
