Radiy Khabirov instructed to use air ambulance to save lives more actively

The Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov instructed the Minister of Health to use air ambulance more actively to save lives. In 2020, at the expense of federal funds, the republic bought an Ansat helicopter equipped with specialized medical equipment. During the year, he flew 97 flights and evacuated 97 patients, including those injured in an accident. The plans for this year are 121 flights. Since the beginning of the year, the helicopter has already evacuated nine patients, including two children.

“You are extremely inefficient using the helicopter assigned to you. Many more lives can be saved with it. Work through the question. The number of flights, especially to hard-to-reach and remote places, must be multiplied,” the Head of the Region said.
