WHO prognoses end of coronavirus pandemic: "Worst-case scenario is over"

The pandemic of the new coronavirus infection will end in early 2022. This is reported by "Rossiyskaya Gazeta", referring to the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Director Hans Kluge.

"The worst-case scenario is over. We know more about the virus compared to 2020 when it just began to spread," the Danish TV channel DR quotes the WHO representative.

Hans Kluge stressed that the virus as such would remain among people; there would simply no need for restrictions. He added that this is only a forecast because no one can say exactly how the situation will develop.
