Northern Fleet warship "Ivan Gren" delegation met with Radiy Khabirov

The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov met with the "Ivan Gren" ship commander, captain of the second rank Andrei Zharkov and second-in-command officer for military-political work, captain of the third rank Denis Rasulev.

The delegation of the large landing ship of the Kola flotilla "Ivan Gren" arrived in the region to participate in the festive events dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day.

On February 23, the sailors of the Northern Fleet, together with the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, laid flowers at the monument dedicated to the immortal feat of Heroes of the Soviet Union Alexander Matrosov and Minnigali Gubaidullin, at the foot of which the Eternal Flame is burning.

In the evening of the same day, the delegation attended the play "Descendants of Salavat will not retreat!", dedicated to the legendary 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division and its commander - Hero of Russia, General Minigali Shaimuratov. The performance took place on the stage of the M. Gafuri Bashkir Academic Drama Theater on the memory day of the military leader.

A year ago, on February 23, 2020, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and captain of the second rank Andrey Zharkov signed an agreement on patronage relations between the Government of Bashkortostan and the crew of the large landing ship of the Northern Fleet "Ivan Gren".
