Bashinform Agency became most cited media outlet in Bashkiria at end of 2020

The Bashinform News Agency was recognized as the most cited media outlet in Bashkortostan at the end of 2020. The Bashinform News Agency took first place among regional media in the rating of the republic's media resources, prepared by the Medialogia company, with a citation index of 885.80.

The second place went to Gorobzor.ru with a citation index of 423.70. Mkset.ru closes the top three of the region's media leaders - with an index of 270.72.

The rating is built on the basis of the media database of the Medialogia system, which includes more than 61 thousand of the most influential sources: TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, news agencies, Internet media. When calculating ratings, news aggregators and mutual cross-citation were not taken into account, if it is large and regular, the study explains.

The Bashinform News Agency is the undisputed leader in citation among the republican media. The agency topped the rating of media resources in Bashkiria also in 2019, 2018, 2017.
