755 million rubles will be allocated to combat cardiovascular diseases in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, 754.8 million rubles will be allocated to fight cardiovascular diseases, Interfax reports, citing the press service of the republican Ministry of Health. Of this amount, the federal budget funds are 585.6 million rubles, the Republic of Bashkortostan's budget funds - 169.2 million rubles.

It is planned to purchase medical equipment for eight regional vascular centers and vascular departments in medical institutions of the region within the framework of the "Healthcare" national project. Also, 30 units of medical equipment will be purchased, including one angiography device and two computed tomography scanners. The delivery of medical equipment will begin in May.

Over 400 million rubles will be spent on the purchase of drugs to prevent cardiovascular diseases and complications in high-risk patients. Besides, the republican budget will finance the supply of about 150 units of equipment for early rehabilitation to the city hospitals of Sterlitamak and Ufa and the Republican Exercise Therapy Center.
